Why did I join Humantelligence?

I am involved with Humantelligence because I have always been intrigued with the concept of engagement of employees and leveraging them as the greatest asset of any organization, and I believe that Humantelligence offers a unique tool to help do that.

More about Mike

Mike is an investor and Board Member for Humantelligence. Mike is a seasoned C-level executive with significant experience in senior financial and operating capacities in domestic and international markets. A CPA by background, Mike went on to work for five Global enterprises, spending 10 of those years in hands-on assignments in three foreign countries, and is fluent in Spanish. He has been CFO of public and private companies, and also had direct P&L responsibility, as President/GM of two large organizations. Thirteen of those years were spent working with private equity groups. During this time, he helped transform many underperforming companies, adding significant market value to these enterprises. He worked very closely with the audit committees and boards of five large companies over the past 25 years, and is well versed in M&A matters, governance and risk management issues.

Most recently Mike was EVP & CFO for Korn/Ferry International, Inc. a global talent management company. Prior to that, he was EVP & CFO at St. John Knits International, Inc., a luxury women’s apparel company. Previously, he served in various capacities at Jafra Cosmetics International, Inc. a multi-level direct selling company, serving as global EVP &, CFO, President and COO of US Operations, and as General Manager and COO of the company’s Mexican operations. Earlier, he was CFO for two public companies (The Wackenhut Corporation and Atlantis Plastics), and prior to that, worked for The Gillette Company for 10 years, with seven of those overseas. He started his career at Deloitte & Touche.

Mike received both bachelors and master’s degrees in accounting from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mike is now working on a variety of consultative projects, including seats as a board member for three public companies and two private direct selling businesses. He is also an audit committee member for an organization to support orphaned children called KidSave and sits on five audit committees, a compensation committee and a governance committee.
