I have been involved with human capital management for many years. I have always felt that if we could take the subjectivity out of the recruitment process–while retaining a human touch–we could streamline the process, resulting in more effective hiring and retention. Humantelligence accomplishes this. I believe assessing EQ as well as IQ is how successful organizations will maintain their competitive advantages. Culture analytics is key, and I have learned through my experience that often companies don’t know their own level of engagement with their employee base, or fully understand their culture and subcultures. This tool provides scientific insights which can lead to cultural transformation. To solve complex issues, the parties involved need to understand each other’s point of view, understanding that various solutions can be simultaneously correct though different. My goal through Humantelligence is to help leaders have greater insight in managing their people, in turn leading to improved retention and an increasingly healthier corporate culture.
Luis is Vice President of Sales for Humantelligence. He helps to identify enterprise clients who are currently looking at their internal DNA and want to increase engagement and establish processes by measuring and understanding their culture at every level. Luis advises these clients on the key system features which include the Action Management System (AMS) which helps them align and motivate employees around key goals, tasks, and actions, as well as other key components of this Employee Relationship Management (ERM) platform that help with career development and feedback, culture analytics, recruiting, and assessments.
Luis has 12 years experience in recruitment and retained executive search. His specialties include change management, hiring and retention, start-up consultation, organizational development, team building, candidate assessment, and venture capital. He has managed global mandates with regional and global teams.
Luis leads the Digital, and Cleantech & Energy practice groups for EMA Partners, and is the co-leader for the Global Technology & Communications practice, and is a member of the Global Payments, Digital & Transaction Services practice. His business information technology background is essential to hiring and retaining best in class talent across functional areas in finance, legal, sales and marketing, operations and product technology, including Software, Media & Advertising, Payments, Big Data & Analytics, Consumer Markets, and Alternative and Renewable Energy firms, He has extensive knowledge of Latin American and Caribbean markets, which, combined with his cultural heritage, gives him a unique blend of expertise needed by many global firms.
Luis graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Business Information Technology, with a concentration in Decision Support Systems (DSS). He is the Chairman of the MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida.
